Quantification and effect of environmental contaminants in native insect pollinators

UA scientists will collaboratively assess the contribution of environmental contaminants (e.g. pesticides) to the decline of insect pollinators. Native insect pollinators will be surveyed for the presence and amount of contaminants. Significant contaminants will be assessed for their effect on the behavior of model pollinators.
